We are located at: UC San Diego Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Pacific Hall room 4140 La Jolla, California 92093-0358 The UCSD campus in La Jolla is about 20 minutes north of downtown San Diego and of the San Diego airport, 30 minutes south of Oceanside, and about 1 hour south of the UC Irvine campus. |

| Driving directions from the North (Irvine or Los Angeles): | |
| --South on Interstate 405 or 5 (I-405 feeds into I-5 a few miles south of Irvine) --Exit La Jolla Village Drive, turn right, going west --see continuation of directions below for your situation |

| Driving directions from the South (Downtown San Diego or San Diego Airport): | |
| --North on Interstate 5 --Exit La Jolla Village Drive, turn left, going west --see continuation of directions below for your situation |

| If you'll be dropped off in front of the building and don't need to park a car: | |
| --Go through 3 traffic lights as the road turns to the right and becomes North Torrey Pines Rd. --At the 4th light, turn right at La Jolla Shores Dr. --Pacific Hall is the 6-story building with blue window awnings (building 111 on the UCSD map) --Prof. Sailor's office is 4140 on the 4th floor |

| If you'll be parking a car and don't have a parking pass: | |
| --Go through the traffic light and veer to the right to exit onto Gilman Drive going north --After the flags, stop at the parking information booth on the right. They will provide suggestions for parking, a map, and directions to Pacific Hall -- Pacific Hall is a 6-story building with blue window awnings (building 111 on the UCSD map) -- Prof. Sailor's office is 4140 on the 4th floor |

| If you'll be parking a car and have a parking pass or will use the 2-hour parking meters: | |
| --Go through the traffic light and veer to the right to exit onto Gilman Drive going north --After the flags, turn left onto Scholars Drive South --Pass 2 stop signs --If you have a permit, use lots 103 or 104 on your right (to get to 104, go through 103) --If you will use 2-hour metered parking, use lot 102 on your left, or lot 104 on your right. In both lots, the meters are on the north side of the lot --Walk north from lot 102 to lot 103 to lot 104 and continue north past a few buildings -- Pacific Hall is a 6-story building with blue window awnings (building 111 on the UCSD map) -- Prof. Sailor's office is 4140 on the 4th floor |
